It's CONFETTI time!

This Coconut Confetti Cold Process Soap is a tropical delight. It is an amazing blend of coconut and island fruits and a touch of floral mixed in. It's like a vacation in the shower!

This Soap is definitely of my top favorites and has quickly made its way to the Aromatic Suds Signature Line. This was the first time I tried a confetti soap. I have to say, I LOVE the way it turned out.

The first step was grating all of my soap scarps and end cuts in various colors. As you can imagine it took about an hour to get enough for 1 batch of soap. But look at all of those beautiful colors!

I start by mixing the lye water with my oils then add a little bit of titanium dioxide mixed with water to get a really creamy white. Then it is time for the confetti! Just look at that! I mean isn't that just beautiful?!

I just dumped it in and stirred it really well with my spatula to make sure it was all incorporated. Now you can see all those little bits of color floating round in that creamy white soap.

There was something magically about adding these soap shreds to the soap base that made me really happy. Maybe because it was my first time but it was just fun! Ok next step!

The pour was a little awkward, I was afraid it was going to splash everywhere but I managed to keep it all in the mold.
