Happy New Year! We decided to ring in the new year with a brand new Beer Cold Process Soap! Made with Blue Moon Belgian White unscented and delicious! Cheers!
This was a brand new experience for us as we have never attempted beer soap. I will say that when the beer was mixed with the lye is was not a pleasant odor. I am not a fan of beer and honestly do not like the smell or taste. I will say however that this cold process soap came out beautiful and after 24 hours smells amazing!
It came out a nice creamy color and of course I added a nice, delicate, white swirl on the inside and a foamy texture on top. I do believe this to be my favorite handmade soap thus far and perfect to start the New Year!
I posted this on YouTube at Midnight on New Years Eve. What a perfect time right? Watch the video below to see how this Belgian White Cold Process Soap was made.
Here is the cut of this beautiful beer soap! Are you a soap maker? Have you ever made a beer soap? It was an awesome experience and if you do make soap you should definitely try it.
