Best Neon Pigments For Soap Making

Do you ever wonder how soap makers achieve those amazing colors in their soap? Look no further, here we will give you the most reliable mica company around along with some of our tried and true neon FAVORITES!

When I started making soap I searched for a company to purchase micas from, I had watched many soap makers

on YouTube and loved the amazing colors they achieved in their soaps. I set out on a journey to find a good quality

company with good prices that I could afford.

Little did I know that when I stumbled upon Mad Micas that they would be the only company I would order from.

Why do I love Mad Micas? Let me give you a few examples.

1. Their prices are amazing and very affordable.

2. The shipping is extremely fast.

3. When you receive your box and open it for the first time you feel appreciated, from the “Hi Holli!”

written inside the box to the card with funny quotes, the candy, and the samples!

They always include samples, and usually it is something that I haven’t tried yet.

So first a few of my favorite neons. These pigments are stunning in cold process soap.

This one is Blue Shocker and let me show you how amazing this blue is! I swirled Blue Shocker with Key West Blue when we made this Fresh Cotton Soap on our YouTube Channel. This is definitely my favorite blue, you can keepit nice and bright or you can mute it a little with some Titanium Dioxide, either way, you are sure o love it!

Next the most impressive neon pigment I have ever used. Radioactive is so bright you may need to wear some shades LOL. Seriously though, this green is EVERYTHING! I used it in this Pearberry Soap I made. You can checkout the video here on our YouTube Channel Neon Pearberry In The Pot Swirl

Now on to the brightest pink I have ever used! Yes this is Tickled Pink and man is it gorgeous! I would use this oink in every soap I make from now on if I could. I used it here is my Pink and Black Cold Process Soap along with Black Iron Oxide ans absolutely love the results. Tis one is a bit hit on out Pinterest.

Then the brightes orange you have ever laid eyes on. I share with you, Cheesy Poof ,master of the neons. I used it in this collab video on with another soap maker. I also used Taxi Cab Yellow and this soap is one of my absolute favorites. I am pretty sure you can see this one in the dark lol.

Ok, Ok, I am in LOVE with this Pretty Kitty Pink, it is a HOT pink and just stunning. It really stands out no matter what other colors are in your soap. As you can see, this is a soap FULL of all of these neon pigments. You can watch us make this Neon Soap on YouTube.

The neons all work great in mealt and pour soap as well. I made these embeds for my 3 Tier Soap Cake using the neon pigments. I do not have Grape Ape so I mixed Tickled Pink and Blue Shocker to get the neon purple.

Thank you for taking the time and reading about my favorite neon pigments from Mad Micas. They are an amazing company and really care about their customers.

Cotton Candy 3 Tier Soap Cake!

This 3 Tier Cotton Candy Cold Process Soap Cake was so fun to create. It is loaded with gumballs, macarons and sprinkles! The colors are amazing and that drip?!?!?!

This was really a  lot of fun, it was a 3 day project but definitely paid off in the end. It weighs just under 7 pounds and I am really not sure if I will cut it or leave as is for a display piece.

First, I made the macarons out of melt and pour using Mad Micas neon pigments, Blue Shocker, Pretty Kitty & the purple was a mix of the two. They are such vibrant, beautiful colors. You can never go wrong with Mad Micas!

I think the drip on the top layer is my favorite part of the entire cake. I have never made a "real" cake with the drip effect so this being my first time and with soap, I think it came out amazing!

I really like the white piping on the second layer with the little gumballs made of melt & pour it just makes it pop! Of course I added Sparkle Plenty from Mad Micas to make it really shine!

As I said earlier, I am not sure if I will cut this soap cake or not, if you would like to see it cut, please leave a comment either here or on my YouTube video!

YouTube Play Button Soap!

As a new YouTube Creator I absolutely love uploading videos and getting to know my subscribers. The Aromatic Suds Soapery channel is growing everyday! We are almost at 500 subscribers so I thought what better way to celebrate than to make this YouTube Play Button Soap!

This is a pretty simple design, not really much to it but it was fun and I am so pleased with the way it came out. But you can see the play button right? That is all that really matters!

I used Red Iron Oxide from Mad Micas to get this perfect red soap! Just a pure red soap with no pretty swirls or anything.

I made the actual buttons out of white melt and pour and cut them out by hand so hopefully they all look good enough.

Well that is it for now. You can watch the video below to see how this one was made.

Disclosure: If you purchase a product through an affiliate link your price will remain the same and Aromatic Suds Soapery will automatically receive a small commission. Thank you for supporting us!

Bath Bomb Cupcakes with Bubble Frosting

Making Bath Bombs is now one of my favorite things to do. So I had to make cupcakes and add some Bubble Frosting and it is amazing!

Mermaid every thing is very popular right now so when I decided to make Bath Bomb Cupcakes they were my first choice.

I made the tails out of melt & pour and used my favorite micas from Mad Micas. The colors I used are Harold's Purple Crayon, Love Bite and King Tut. They are gorgeous! I only use micas from Mad Micas, in my opinion they are the absolute best, their prices are amazing and the shipping is lightning fast! The fragrance is Mermaid Kisses from Nature's Garden, they are the only company I buy fragrances from.

I also made some Unicorn Cupcake Bath Bombs

Then some Beach Bum Bath Bomb Cupcakes
