Mermaids, oh my! Make Waves Cold Process Soap

This Make Waves Cold Process Soap came out so beautiful! I am in love! The colors, the tails, the waves, oh my! If you love Mermaids, you will love this soap!

When I think of Mermaids I think of tails splashing in the water which is exactly what I wanted to show with this Make Waves Cold Process Soap.

This soap came out just like I wanted. With the beautiful pink and purple tails dusted with an amazing gold mica and a little pink ball for a pop of color.

First I made the tails with a mold I found online you can find it on Amazon, using The Guilty Grape and Love Bite micas and brushed them with KING TUT from Mad Micas. I LOVE the gold mica on these! It is scented with Nature's Garden Grapefruit Mango fragrance oil and let me tell you, this one smells amazing!

I used Peacock and Blue Tide mixed with the creamy white for the in the pot swirl on this soap. They are kind of close in color but you can see the difference.  They look just like he waves in the ocean! I wish I would have also added a deeper blue but I am pretty happy with it

It came out so nice! I really love these bars! The new recipe I am using makes a really hard bar and is ready to unmold 5 hours after the pour. It comes out so smooth and beautiful. It has a nice creamy lather and is so moisturizing! This recipe is a winner for me and is my new favorite.

I love the added texture that the salt gives these bars. Can you see it? I don't think I could have done any better with this one, even the kids love it! I am still unsure of the pink balls on top but I think it added a little pop of color that it was lacking.

It is so pretty! Here is a picture of the fresh cut bars! I love the blue swirls mixed with a little bit of white. The slant in the slope made this soap more appealing to me it was the first time I have ever tried it. I usually like a uniform bar but this looks great!
